About Issy

RVN HEDip, VetPhys PgDip

Issy has always wanted to help animals since a very early age. Growing up on a farm, she was often bottle feeding orphan lambs or poorly calfs and trying to help wildlife such as injured birds, owls and rabbits.

Issy left school and pursued her show jumping career, producing a few horses and breeding her now stallion Cash Legend aka Champ who stands at stud as well as jumping. Issy was selected for the British Show Jumping Young Professional programme, and was given funding to become an AI technician to support her breeding programme.

Alongside competing, Issy started a family and decided to go back to education to pursue her dream career in the veterinary world after having several lame horses with some interesting conditions, it sparked her interests to develop a new career.

After gaining experience in practice, Issy found her passion in rehabilitation and was offered a place on the MSc Veterinary Physiotherapy course at Nottingham Vet School.
